My name is Richard Paul Cevat (hence the name RPcom). I live in the small village of Haren, part of the municipality of Oss.After obtaining my VWO diploma in 1988 I worked for 6 years for two accounting offices. This is where I obtained my MBA and SPD (financial management) certificates. In 1994, one of my clients (Volvo Construction Equipment) asked me to become their controller for the Dutch enterprise that oversaw their European logistics, sales and after-sale services. A challenging, fun job that I enjoyed until 2000, after which I held two international controller positions at American companies (Teleglobe and Ergotron) until 2007. During that time, I traveled the world and learned a lot about not only administration but also managing an organization. In the last position, I became responsible for all financial, IT, personnel, and logistics administration as financial director. In this position I was also involved in the implementation of the Oracle ERP application (E-Business Suite) and I enjoyed that project very much. This lead to a switch to an IT company as a project manager (Oracle) ERP in 2007. Over the years, my interest changed and I eventually became a service manager for workplaces and infrastructure. In 2019, my financial heart started beating again as I joined a (former) colleague as 'manager group services' at a scale-up ICT company in Eindhoven. I fulfilled this role with great pleasure for more than five years and was responsible for, among other things, finance, personnel and salary administration, logistics, and ERP.My main personnel goals include helping people gain more insight into (financial) administration and the tools that a (financial) administration offers to help a company move forward.
